Webmaster/Web Designer (Feb 2008)
It’s 2008 “the Year of Rat” and TrapikMedia will resume the development of it’s own web sites about the Philippines, business, food, sports, music, entertainment, jewelry and more SEO’d web sites that draw organic traffic from Internet search.
This is Full Time position.
The Webmaster/Web Designer position is tasked with maintaining and designing web sites. The position calls for a person capable of MULTI-TASKING and possess specific expertise in HTML, CSS, XHTML. Above average knowledge of scripting (PHP, Javascript) and graphics programs is a PLUS.
Job Description for Webmaster/Web Designer :
- Maintenance and management of web site/s
– 50%. Encode and upload content updates via HTML/PHP/code (includes SEO coding)
– 20%. Manipulation of media (images, photos, video and audio files)
– 10%. Fix web site bugs.
– 10%. Test and optimize web sites.
– 10%. Backup web sites and databases. - Basic graphics requirements such as image manipulation, splicing and optimization.
- Basic Internet knowledge such as SEO, keyword linking and link generation.
Qualifications for Webmaster/Web Designer:
- 2 years designing, developing and managing web sites from inception to maturity.
- Intermediate HTML, CSS, XHTML based design skills.
- Intermediate Internet marketing skills.
- Intermediate graphics skills using Fireworks, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Above average command of written English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia or equivalent experience.
- Professional certifications a plus.
